DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

This product should not be used in puppies under 6 weeks of age.
 
Treatment for heartworm should occur regularly at monthly intervals.
 
Dogs should be tested and be free of adult heartworm and microfilariae prior to starting heartworm prevention. If worm problems persist, consult your veterinarian.
 
The dose of EXELPET™ EZY-DOSE™ MONTHLY HEARTWORMER + INTESTINAL ALLWORMER FOR DOGS is 1 chew per 10 kg bodyweight. 

 
EXELPET EZY-DOSE MONTHLY HEARTWORMER + INTESTINAL ALLWORMER FOR DOGS has a wide safety margin and at the recommended dose are suitable for dogs of all breeds including pregnant and breeding bitches, stud dogs and puppies from 6 weeks of age.

TREATMENT FREQUENCY

Monthly dosage with EXELPET™ EZY-DOSE™ MONTHLY HEARTWORMER + INTESTINAL ALLWORMER FOR DOGS for dogs is needed to ensure complete worm protection.
 
Heartworm Prevention
Consult your veterinarian to confirm that your dog does not have heartworm before startingadministration of EXELPET™ EZY-DOSE™ MONTHLY HEARTWORMER + INTESTINAL ALLWORMER FOR DOGS.
 
To provide your dog with ongoing protection from heartworm, treatment must be given every month, preferably on or about the same day. The prevention program may not be effective if a monthly treatment is missed. If the monthly treatment is missed by not longer than 7 days then re-start the programme immediately; if longer than this, contact your veterinarian immediately for advice.
 
It is important your dog consumes the entire required dose of EXELPET™ EZY-DOSE™ MONTHLY HEARTWORMER + INTESTINAL ALLWORMER FOR DOGS. If the full monthly dose is not given, then your dog may be at risk from heartworm infestation.
 
General Information
For pregnant bitches, treat with EXELPET™ EZY-DOSE™ MONTHLY HEARTWORMER + INTESTINAL ALLWORMER FOR DOGS at mating and before whelping, in addition to regular monthly treatment.
 
Fleas are intermediate hosts for tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum). Effective flea control will reduce the incidence of tapeworm.
