PRODUCT BENEFITS

EXELPET™ EZY-DOSE™ Monthly Heartworm Treatment for Dogs is a tasty meaty chew which can be offered to your dog as a snack or treat or added to their food once a month for the prevention of heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis).


 

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

This product should not be used in puppies under six weeks of age.
 
If your dog is already infested with adult heartworm and microfilariae when treatment commences, adverse reactions may result. If your dog is over 7 months of age and is not currently on a heartworm prevention product it should be tested by a veterinarian to ensure that it is free of canine adult heartworm and microfilariae before commencing a heartworm treatment.
 
WARNING: Consult a veterinarian before use. Adverse reactions may occur when administering this product to dogs for the prevention of heartworm.
 
Treatment for heartworm should occur regularly at monthly intervals. Treatment should commence once your dog reaches 6 weeks of age and continue all year round.
 
The dose of EXELPET™ EZY-DOSE™ Monthly Heartworm Treatment for Dogs is 1 chew per 10kg of bodyweight.
 

TREATMENT FREQUENCY

Treatment for heartworm should occur regularly at monthly intervals. Treatment should commence once your dog reaches 6 weeks of age and continue all year round.
